Suzhou Museum


Suzhou Museum or  博物 (read: Suzhou bówùguǎn) opened the first time in 1960 at the site Zhong Wang Fu, or castle / mansion Prince Zhong of the TaipingHeavenly Kingdom and is right next to the park the largest and most famous inSuzhou, the Humble Administrator's Garden. In October 2006 the museum wascompletely renovated into a modern building with contemporary design 'state of the art' work of the architect IM Pei, who is famous for its spectacular design (andcontroversial) The Pyramid of the Louvre Museum, Paris.
