Almas Tower (Diamond Tower) is a skyscraper as tall as 360 meters (1.181 feet)which is under construction in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Construction began inearly 2005 and is expected to be completed in 2008. When completed, this buildingwill have 74 levels, 70 levels for office space and four levels for the service.
This tower will be built on an artificial island in the middle of the Jumeirah LakeTowers. The tower will be the highest of all buildings on the development whencompleted. The design of the tower by Atkins Middle East, an architectural firm thathas designed some of the complex JLT. Almas tower will be built by Japan's TaiseiCoropration of which won the contract by Nakheel Properties on July 16, 2005
