Aloha is building a lighthouse tower at the Port of Honolulu, Hawaii, United States.The building is one of the landmarks in Hawaii. Since it was inaugurated on 11September 1926, the lighthouse continues to carry out their duties to guide the ships that came to Honolulu. Aloha tower was built in Hawaiian gothic style ofarchitecture. As the first building seen at the Port of Honolulu, Aloha Tower is often regarded as a symbol of welcoming the arrival of hundreds of thousands ofimmigrants in Honolulu. This 10-story building (56 m) plus the 12-meter flagpole at its peak. Aloha tower was once the tallest building in Hawaii for four decades.

In 1981, the Governor of Hawaii with the Department of Commerce, Economic Development and Tourism State of Hawaii established the developer namedAloha Tower Development Corporation. This public company in charge ofbuilding land around Aloha Tower. Aloha Tower complex includes Jetty 5 and 6,Wharf 8-23, as well as some of Nimitz Highway and Iwilei.
Hawaii Maritime Center adjacent to Aloha Tower opened in 1982. A museumship called the Falls of Clyde docked at the pier as a monument to honor the Port of Hawaii. In 1994, Aloha Tower Marketplace shopping center was opened in the Port of Honolulu. Hawaii Maritime Center as one of the institutions under theBishop Museum in 2002.
