Malaysia: Petronas Twin Towers, World's Highest Building Year 1998-2004


Petronas Towers (also known as the Petronas Twin Towers) is a skyscraper andthe twin towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This tower could be tallest building in the world in 1998-2004 who was defeated by the Taipei 101 tower. PetronasTwin Towers was designed by architect Cesar Pelli and Jay Argentina Cericounder consulting engineer Julius Gold and Filipna Domingo.


Petronas tower completed in 1998 after a seven-year development process andbecome the world's tallest building on completion. They built on land which was originally the site of Kuala Lumpur race track. Menarai is built on the foundationdepth of 120 meters. Design on a structural frame donated by Domo ObiasseHaiti engineer and co-Aris and Princess D Battista Battista.

Building towers have 88 floors mostly built of reinforced concrete, with steel andglass facade designed to resemble motifs in Islamic art, this is a reflection ofMalaysia's Islamic religion. Tower 1, the west tower was built by a consortium led by Japan's Hazama Corporation while Tower 2, the east tower was built bySamsung C & T and KukDong Engineering & Construction. Tower 2 being the first to reach the world's tallest building at the time.

Under Suria KLCC twin towers there, the shopping center, and where the CouncilFilharmonik Petronas, the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra and the place. Anddisekiar buildings have decorations fountain in the park, so the area is used as a place to hang out a lot of people, where they were to do the photos, playing,talking or just sitting around.
